I have posted my recent acquisition on another thread but thought some of the European members may find this info helpful. Hermes open a small store In Quinta Do Laga - near Faro for 7 months of the year and it opened for the season a week ago. I walked in on Thursday and picked up a 35 Birkin in Epsom Bougainvilier. I didn't know the SA and the bag wasn't on show. I asked about a Constance and she mentioned the Birkin. How lucky was I? They had some stunning bags in including a rose/red alligator mini Kelly and several sizes and colours of Kelly's. Jewel colours in mainly Togo or Taurillion Clemence. They probably had about 30 boxes of bags in the shop. They only got 2 Birkins this season and I got the last one but it is worth a visit if you are in the area. The SA I dealt with is Filipa - she has long dark hair and really helpful.

They have a small range of clothes both men and women, shoes, belts, scarves and jewellery including a lovely horn necklace that I hadn't seen before.

that's interesting. i have been to algarve a few times and had no idea there was a seasonal H store there. btw....your bougainvilier birkin is gorgeous!! do you know if they had any birkin 30's in stock?

The SA said that they opened with 2 Birkins and I had the last one although that's not to say there won't be more in. She was prepared to check their Lisbon store for a Constance and would have transferred it but not sure if they would do the same for a Birkin. I didn't get the sense that they had regular customers yet as they only opened last year for 4 months. The SA is called Filipa and worth a call. She was exceptionally friendly and helpful although I have to say that my experience of Hermes SA's has always been great but I do live in Manchester and they say everyone is friendly there!!
