I am thinking about making another hamilton purchase ;).

I have one in the black patent and one in luggage leather. Both with the silver hardware. I love the patent, but sometimes I wish I had the option of regular black leather.

I was thinking about getting another in the black leather (not patent). but i can't decide on the color hardware. I love silver hardware because I mostly wear white gold and silver jewelry. However, the gold hardware on the hamiltons has always caught my eye.

Does the gold hardware chip or peel on MK bags? I have only had experience with MK silver hardware.

No, the gold hardware wears just as well as the silver. Good luck deciding, I'm always torn over the hardware color.
Like you, I wear mostly white gold/silver jewelry, but am really drawn to the gold too!

Its really good hardware and my opinion is that if you already have the patent with silver, the reg leather with gold would be a gorgeous addition. Congrats!!!

Thank you all! I am glad to hear the MK's gold hardware holds up well. (sometimes others I have had chips off).

I agree that it may be a good idea to change it up and add something different. The prob is all the hamiltons are so pretty it makes it hard!

I found the black with the gold on macy's website, so I may order it from there or see if I can find it at a macy's store. (The dept. stores in my area seem to be out of stock of the hamiltons.)

I know what you mean. I just saw the red one at my macys and I almost lost it!!!
That (red) is the next on my list, I ordered the black and luggage last week.

I'd say that since you already have a black hamilton with silver hardware, go with the gold hardware for this one. The black and gold combination is hard to find and totally awesome. If you get silver hardware, I feel like its a bit redundant. GHW all the way!

Another vote for the gold hardware - I have gold on my navy Hamilton and just love it. I also have the black with silver and love that too, but since you already have silver hardware go for one in gold.

lov - I too saw the red one and it's divine!!! But I have 2 Hamiltons and I think that's enough, right?? ;)

Chrissy, your asking the wrong person,lol. This morning i just went to macys and presaled the red one too. Now that makes 3 for me. Lol. Im revealing on friday.

OMG I don't think I've ever asked anyone not to reveal a bag before but I'm afraid to see that red one!!! I know I'll die - you don't want that on your conscience do you?? :p

LOL! I'll tell you what, when I do my reveal I will leave the red for last and so that way you can close your eyes. ;) lol
