are you able to wear the east/west flap across your body, or is that only with the classic flaps?

The chain on the east/west is shorter than the larger sizes, so you wouldn't be able to wear it across the body. How you see it in my picture is the longest it will go.

I'm not sure. I bought it from the Nieman Marcus boutique that xochrissie works at. She had posted the red flap in her "Hidden Treasures" thread. She found it in the back there, so it may be an older red.
