I am amazed you could find 5 Birkins in one shopping trip. Every time I travel anywhere in the world (and I travel a lot), I go to the nearest Hermes store and I have only seen 2 Birkins in the past four years. Usually, the SA smiles or laughs when I ask for one.

Are there particular stores around the world that seem to have a good supply? Maybe I've just gone to all the wrong stores?

No, not at one shot!! Got the 50cm birkin, the kelly and the jige on this past happy jaunt to Honolulu. Ala Moana had (maybe still has!) a 35cm matte havanne croc kelly, which I was mulling over, but got these instead. Told DH he got off easy with me not getting the croc kelly!! But if it were a croc BIRKIN..... As you can see, I am a birkin fan, this is my first kelly. It feels very sophisticated on...

Also, the ostrich is brown. It does look very dark in the photos, as does the 50cm, which is also brown. Wouldn't mind a black one!
