I searched for a thread on the new LV fragrance Coeur Battant - forgive me and point me in the right direction of I've missed it.

I stopped by my local LV today and tested the new Coeur Battant. I liked it as an initial gut reaction - but it's really all about the longer wear vs the initial spritz! I didn't try it on directly as I'd just recently used my Mille Feux and didn't want to pollute the scents. Throughout my afternoon/evening of huffing the swatch the CA provided me - I realized the scent has an odd but wonderfully familiar scent that I'm now captivated by. It reminds me, for some reason I have yet to identify, of my beloved great aunt while still feeling current and fresh. I didn't leave the store with a bottle - I needed the scent to settle in before I made my decision. But I am ready to commit. My other LV fragrances include Mille Feux and Attrape-Rêves. I think Cœur Battant is a great addition as it feels a little lighter and fresher than the other two.

Anyone have and/or tried this fragrance? Thoughts? TY :flowers:

I sprayed on my skin in store and waited for it to settle and it is a fresh lovely smell, not too sweet. I love Jasmine. I was given a sample so will wear a few days and see how it lasts on my skin and if I still love it when the sample is finished may buy a bottle, at this stage I do like it

It's funny you say that about it reminding you of your Aunt. One of the SA's at the store I shop at said the exact same thing. For me it was the notes of Ylang Ylang that were extremely familiar. It reminded me of a perfume I wore years ago, but I can't place what that was. It was very nice, but I have too many others I need to use before investing in another.

I love it! I sent a deluxe sample to one of my best friends and she says it's her new favorite (she has Attrape-Reves and Le Jour Se Leve). My favorite is still Attrape-Reves but Coeur Battant is tied for second with Rose Des Vents, and then finally, Le Jour Se Leve.

So I finally picked this up today! After spraying it directly I really loved the way it settles in. Not to sweet but fresh and bright. Almost a little spring/summer but still workable in the warm south through the winter. I'll rotate this will my Attrape-Reves and Mille Feux. Highly recommend this new scent! It's closes to Attrape-Reves for sure vs. the Mille Feux with is a richer/warmer scent, IMO. Officially on "Fragrance Ban Island"

I need to try this too. I love Roses des vents, much to my surprise. With the LV line, personally some fragrances aren't for me but some I am very drawn to in a good way!
