Just wanted to pass on a little intel from Dior for F/W 2016-17 regarding some new bags. I see there's a thread already out for the Dior Lily bag, it will come in exotics, as well as black, rose poudre, and burgundy with black handles. The bag will be VERY SMALL, and feature a removable cross body strap. It measures about 7.5" wide, but has about 4" depth, so this is definitely a "mini" bag.
Also, a new size of the Lady Dior is being released, the small. It's between the mini and the medium size, and will also feature a removable long and wide cross body strap. A fun fact on this one is that there will be no top zipper, it will have sort of a free envelope type of small flap at the top to secure your belongings that will be unattached to anything on the sides, similar to the mini. Dior apparently "listened" to all the complaints about the difficulty of accessing the medium & large bags with the zipper, ppl scratching their hands on the zipper and ppl's rings scratching the leather.
There will be 2 versions. One will be with SHW in navy, red, black and rose poudre. These will all come with the strap that has THREE HOLES in it, where you will be able to choose THREE DIOR PINS to place in there to customize your strap! These could be the badge, or the shield, or the Dior logo, or even your initials. The pins are very cute! The price is $3450.
The second version will have a load of multicolored charms attached to it to give it quite the embellishment! These will come in dark grey, nude, black, navy and red with GHW. The price is $3750.
Release should be mid-October.
I shall purchase, finally, a couple of these as the size is right on, not too big, not too small...
