New Coach Hamptons Canvas Tote update!

So far, if you look in the system at a FP or outlet store, you'll see that they (Coach) produced (and even in the brochures) produced Salt (white), Navy and Chambray bags as color options for this style.

HOWEVER, they are NOT ORDERABLE in any of those three colors (red, yellow, orange and green/lime are the only options). I was hoping to order the blue on PCE and was horribly disappointed.

Just letting others know...
I do love the bag size and style!
It's possible BUT UNLIKELy that a department store chain (like a Macys, Nordstrom, etc) bought out those colors, but as far as JAX told my SA on the phone, they were potential colors but have 0 stock and were pulled as options later on.

Update ladies!!
Thanks to tlingitgirl for inquiring, I called CS today to inquire about their bags.

It looks as if Coach made the same bag, but only gave the 70157 to the department stores, but you can get the same bag WITH the detachable strap in the blue colors from Coach in 70159. Thanks to her asking me (albeit to late for me to use my PCE on the bag now... ) I got the nerve to figure it out and find out the bag IS AVAILABLE in blue, just not from dept. stores...

70159 med weekend tote $298 detachable strap chambry, navy
70157 hmp canv tote $298 2 straps only and not available in ANY blue

I did not inquire about the salt color (offwhite).

I just got the red (brick) 70157 at Macy's for $99. It was originally $298 + 50% off + additional 30%. I used the 11% off coupon (get them at hotel concierge or Macy's visitor center) that has no restrictions. Woo hoo!
