New Chanel CF, peeling around stitching, is this normal?

I bought a new Chanel a couple months ago and the leather around the flap stitching is peeling. I was wondering if this is normal or if I should send it back to Chanel for repair?

Not sure if it is normal but mine’s got peeling as well brand new from the store! (Not even used yet) unfortunately store lighting does not help show the issues and I bought it overseas!

Not the best photo but mine is in repair for a stitching issue and have not got about to carrying it out yet! I don’t feel great about it but I guess just have to forget about it
I think it helps that I have stopped thinking that Chanel = great quality

I'm not sure how it's been worn of course, but, I would personally be frustrated by this.

To be honest Chanel quality has been fluctuating over the past few years. Boy bags seem to be better made than the classics these days. Classics' prices have increased a LOT since I acquired some in 2010, but the quality just does not seem to be as good. I tried on the silver hardware rendition of my classic beige jumbo last week and I just was not impressed. It's like it is a totally different leather not a natural variation!

I've only worn it out about 10 times And only in good weather!
Do you think conditioner may help?
