New Cashin Carry

I love my new Cashin Carry Crescent in light blue. It’s more of an aquamarine though. I picked it up in a Coach boutique in a local mall. It’s leather lined and feels old school Coach. It is small, so I may have to pick up a new slg.

Love it!!

I just bought this bag online today. I wanted a bag from the Bonnie Cashin era but couldn’t find one in good used condition at a reasonable price. I have been looking at this reissue bag for awhile. It’s different than the original but I think in a good way. I found one in honey brown at Nordstrom and hope it’s a keeper. If it is I will post a photo.

My bag arrived and it’s a keeper. I like the additional hangtag that says it’s a Bonnie Cashin re-issue.

I also remembered that I had this Bonnie Cashin hangtag from several years ago so I added it too.

I did buy smaller slgs to fit in this lovely bag and a couple of my other bags. I am so pleased with the quality of them as well. They also match my reading glasses case. I had no idea how coordinated everything would be.

First outing for my bag to a busy mall. I took the extra hangtag off today. This discontinued LV Insolite wallet purchased many years ago was one of my best buys ever! Holds up to 5 cards, folded bills and has a zippered compartment also; still remains very flat.

Small cloth pouch from Etsy holds extra disposable contact lenses, wetting solution and Tylenol. I almost always carry a pack of tissues too. I am so glad that the Ray-Ban case fits. My phone easily fits but I am using it to take the photo.

DH was disappointed that he couldn’t put his sunglasses case in my bag today but he just left it in the car as it was an indoor mall.

Thank you for this pic! I love the color. It holds the essentials. I should have put my sunglasses in my what’s in my bag pic. I’m glad you did. I always get annoyed with YouTubers who have giant bottles of handcream and 6 tubes of lip gloss but no sunglasses.

Thank you! Yes, although this bag only fits the essentials, they fit comfortably. While shopping I could easily get my wallet out without worrying that something else was going to fall out.

I also get annoyed with influencers who say that they can fit a small water bottle in their small bag. Like how small?

The water bottle would have to be short and slim. I haven’t seen those. Don’t get me started on the influencers who put loose ink pens and lipsticks in their handbags. I’m thinking, I hope you aren’t planning on selling that one.

Yes, lipsticks need to be in some sort of case. I sometimes carry a pen but it is kept in a zippered compartment or I have a bag insert in larger bags.

Your post got me thinking too. Do people really need to carry pens anymore? You just put phone numbers directly into your phone. Most credit card signing is touch screen and restaurants will give you a pen.
