New Birkin limited edition - no rain cover?

Hi all, I’ve recently bought a Birkin 35 limited edition (leather exterior & canvas ‘sea, surf & fun’ interior) from the boutique in Paris. However, upon checking the box and the bag at home, I couldn’t find the rain jacket anywhere. Is this normal? My B30 (regular version) came with one but not sure why this one doesn’t/whether this is standard for the size or the limited edition?

If there should be a rain jacket and the boutique did indeed forget to include one, how do I go about finding a replacement? I can’t contact the SA who sold me the bag as she didn’t want to give her contact details, and I’m now back in London so going to the Paris store to request one is not an option unfortunately.

Why don't you just call the boutique in Paris and ask for the manager? If you are due the raincoat, they should send it to you.

I would just go to local store and ask for one. one time, I was in store with my croc Kelly, they gave me one without being asked on my way out. It looked about to rain outside.

Hmm what’s the date stamp on it? I think this was an LE from 2018? Wonder if it’s been traveling store to store around Europe since then. It would definitely explain lost packaging. Regardless, I would try your local store first and if that doesn’t pay off, call the Paris store and see if they can help remotely. Good luck!
