Did anyone else get this email today? If so, what do you think of them using the two You Tubers - Tanya Burr and Jim Chapman - to promote the brand.

Personally whilst I don't mind these two, using them for marketing purposes whilst prices remain so high doesn't seem like a great idea to me. Considering that the majority of their fan base is Tweens to Teens

Yes ive seen pics of tanya with the cara lion rivets bag, i always thought mulberry only let most of the celebs 'borrow' the bags at promotional events for photo purposes. I didnt realise that they actually let them keep them, I've seen tanya with a few designer handbags at fashion shows that you never see her mention or use again but she has been out and about with her cara backpack recently. tanya's fan base is definitely tweens, not sure if any of them will be able to afford them so its a strange choice

I didn't get an email, but I did notice in Grazia magazine a feature on the Cara launch event at Wilderness Festival whilst waiting to pay for my food in Tescos!! I didn't think the feature was particularly well placed considering the audience who will spend this kind of money on a Cara. Still trying to work out what age they would be TBH!! Thank god my daughter is only 10....:nuts:

I'm 34 and although I know who these people are, I think the fact that as a lot of you don't, it shows that their marketing is very odd!

Tanya is a "beauty guru" on You tube. Jim is her boyfriend and brother of the high profile Pixiwoo sisters who also have a channel dedicated to beauty. I couldn't really tell you what Jim's niche is, but I know he makes You tube videos.

Tanya has been at the Mulberry shows for the past few years and has done a few Mulberry videos
