Hey y’all ! (Can you tell Im from Texas ?!)

I am going to be making my first Louis Vuitton store purchase and I’m trying to make a decision between the two styles. I definitely want the LV monogram. I’m trying to specifically decide between graceful Pm and neverfull MM. I need help because this is a big purchase for me to treat myself.
Here is what I like about each bag :

Graceful- I’m in love with the PM size because it isn’t as floppy and has a tad bit more structure than the MM. I like that it looks like an actual purse and as a mom of a 1 year old I like that it’s a shoulder bag.

Neverfull -I mean this is such a classic bag!! I like that it’s so spacious and it’s durability.

Here are my concerns/ dislikes:

Graceful: I’m concerned that the folding at the bottom isn’t going to last beyond a few years. I’m also afraid I may grow tired of the style or it might not hold enough.

Neverfull: I’m concerned that the thin straps will break or my stuff will fall out of the bag due to lack of closure. I’m also afraid it might be too big too. I also dislike how so many fakes exist of this bag.
Help me and give me your opinions !

also for reference I carry in my bag: a wallet, cell phone, eyeglass case, tylenol, small planner, nail file , powder, lipstick, and mints.

thanks a ton !

Okay - my honest personal opinion - go for the Neverfull. You will get a lot of opinions and you should trust your gut. I had a Graceful and sold it because of the pointy corners are susceptible to wear and tear. It's a gorgeous little bag though. I still have a Neverfull and feel that it is a staple in your collection. But please try both on (if you can in these covid times) and go with your own gut.

My first LV was the Neverfull. It’s the best mom bag. I have had things topple out when the bag fell over, but it doesn’t happen enough to be worried (literally the only time I can think of it happening is when it fell off my passenger seat during a sudden stop). And the straps are thin, but the bag is built to hold a ton. As a mom, you may not carry a ton of your own, but I find I am always somehow ending up with my daughters’ coats and papers and snacks, etc. I appreciate having the extra room.

I tried the graceful pm on during a recent trip to the boutique and it was a lovely bag, but I just didn’t love it like I thought I would.

I agree with the other that the Graceful is a beautiful bag and overall design - but I own two NF and zero Graceful. The NF is so practical and holds a TON! It's nice to have extra space to throw in an extra scarf or kids stuff when needed. I've had it topple once on a short stop as well but now I secure it a bit better when in the car. One last thought - you can always get an organizer that helps keep items more snug in the bag - and some organizers have a zip closure "top" but still leaves room to throw a few items on top.

Good luck deciding and post pics when you do!

Thank y’all so so much. It sounds like the neverfull is gonna be the winner for me. I think if I’m gonna go all out and treat myself then it might as well be with the neverfull. My little girl is 1 and I’m sure I’ll be putting more things in my purse as she outgrows her diaper bag. All wonderful points ! Thank you all !

Neverfull please. It’s very easy to use, fit a lot, comfortable on shoulder and you can cinch the bag to give a different look and make it saver. Most of the time, I cinch mine. I keep the valuable stuff inside the zip pocket which inside the bag, not the seperate pouch. Then I use seperate pouch for different occasions, usually for short trip to supermarket. I never had issues with my stuff falling out if the bag, and I never had issues with the strap, the bag is durable..
Good luck on deciding..

I love the Graceful silhouette but I think the NF is more practical for a mom. You can keep the bag on your shoulder, drop the outside strap and let the bag fall open and reach in to it but the Graceful really needs to come off your shoulder in order to get an item out of the bag. Good luck and let us see what you decide!

NF sounds perfect for you right now! Get familiar with the sizes in the boutique, if possible. And one thing: please don't make your decision based on your concern that the bag you like is being counterfeited. They're ALL faked, sadly, and across brands. So get what you love and enjoy it!

The NF for sure. I use mine as a travel bag and it has been stuffed to the brim with all kinds of stuff. Honestly, I think of the Graceful as a bag that someone purchases when they can’t afford the higher end bags but they want an LV for show. The NF is a classic!

I asked myself the same question before, and I decided to go with Graceful. The reasons:
1. I live in SoCal. Therefore, I see ton of NF everywhere.
2. I can use a strap with the Graceful and convert it to a crossbody bag. I got a PM.
3. Almost all designers, regardless the price, are selling totes which have the same sharp as NF. To me, graceful is a more interesting design.
With a 1 year old, I think I will get a cheaper tote for daily use and get the Graceful for some fun occasions.

NeverFull. No matter how many bags you have, I NeverFull always has a place in the collection.i sold two NeverFull limited editions and have been looking to repurchase for some time.
