Hi all!

I just purchased the Neverfull MM in Monogram.

I have bigger shoulders and find the straps to be slightly tight - Should i expect the vachetta to stretch over time? Obviously being brand new the vachetta is very stiff etc. I know it will get softer - but will it stretch, even slightly? Thanks yall <3

With time and use, the straps soften and eventually end up like shoe laces ... they won't stand on their own. At this point it should be super-comfy. My BTP Pink NF is an MM size, and the straps still stand up. Felt almost scratchy on my arm/shoulder to the point of irritation. These newer models I find have thicker straps than my GM model (2012), but just be patient or consider the GM size if it's really bothersome.

Hi!

I do not carry my Neverfulls very often, but the straps have not seemed to stretch at all. When I carry them, I always think that I could use 1-2 more inches in the shoulder strap drop, but alas, that's not the style of the Neverfull on my frame (5'4"). All of my Neverfulls are MMs.

I gravitate more to my Onthegos, Totally PM, and Marylebone when I want a more proper (to me) tote-bag feel. I still love my Neverfulls though and do not plan to sell them. I have two with vachetta straps: a monogram turquoise "V" edition from 2015 and a new BTP Pink. (I have two Epi leather Neverfulls and one red Escale Neverfull, and those straps seem to be stiffer than the vachetta straps.)

I agree with travelbliss's advice to wait out the break-in period if you are going to carry the bag frequently or to consider the GM. Good luck with the process! :smile:

I just purchased a neverfull mm in the embossed leather monogram. And my straps seems tight as well. I had one in canvas preloved and felt the strap drop was longer. Came here to see if others were having the same issue.
