neverfull problem

after spending alot on a bag i bought online , it was labled a fake here
i decided to make the treck up to the nearest lv store and buy a neverfull MM but i noticed it had no tag inside with a serial number on it.is this normal?

Vuitton products do NOT come with serial numbers - there are date codes.
