My Speedy B 25 is my most favorite bag. It can be worn multiple ways so I think it’s different from the NF PM, especially if you get it in a different pattern.
I love, love, love my NF. But it's in DA so I only wear it in the summer. Waiting for the Speedy b 25 in DE to arrive any day now. They're totally different bags. I wear my NF on my shoulders and plan to wear the Speedy b as a crossbody.
They’re very different bags (looks and functionality wise). Speedy B 25 is on my wishlist as a travel bag since it has the crossbody strap and zipper closure.

My Speedy 25 is one of my favorites, I‘ve had it for maybe 8 years (whichever year the Bandouliere version was introduced). I admit I used it very sparingly and was Stored away for a few years. This summer I bought an insert for it and (I hate to use this cliche), but it was an absolute game changer. It is hands down my most used bag nowadays. I don’t think you’ll regret it.
I have both but mono for NF and DE for speedy. Love them both and think they are totally different bags
I use the speedy for both work and outing. Use my NF on weekends mostly, because it's more casual looking.
Agree with all of the comments above. They’re completely different bags, even if you got the same pattern. Go for it!
I have a NF 30 damier ebene and a Speedy B 30 monogram. I'd say they are totally different bags. I like that I can just throw anything in the NF and easily find it because it's an open bag. On the hand, the Speedy is mostly used when I travel as it has a zipper and can be worn as a crossbody bag.
I get to use my NF lately as I use it for my nearly 2yo daughter's stuff to. I find that the Speedy B is a more versatile bag.

Hi. Which insert did you purchase and did you lose a lot of internal space.
Hi there - I ordered it from Samorga, with a bottle holder on one side (which I primarily use for either sun or eyeglasses) and no, I don’t feel as if I lost any space at all. In fact since everything is so well organized with all my smaller items tucked away in the insert pockets, it frees up more space in the middle area for larger items.
Hi, I’m. new here. I recently sold my NF Pm to replace Speedy 25 BD ( it’s arriving tomorrow) I just got speedy 30 B monogram for everyday work ( fit iPad , water bottle, shoulder strap was must ) I’m planning to use speedy 25BD for go shopping, weekend go out etc. I thought I will love the NF PM but it doesn’t go over the shoulder ( use for work , I had to carry lunch bag in other arm, NF PM on other ... my elbows were start getting soar some times.. so I ended up using more NF D MM so speedy 30 b & 25 bd will work perfect.
