Neverfull mm mono with red interior or speedy 30 classic version?

I have both of these, to be honest even though I admire the Speedy as a classic, I haven't used it in years. I have the 30 and 25 and the 30 is the least used. I even got straps for them (because it's the classic not bandouliere) and still wouldn't feel comfortable to carry around. For me the shape when worn doesn't cut it. On the other hand I have been using the neverfull for travelling, work, or whenever I need to carry a laptop or a lot. It's a classic everyday/work shoulder bag for me
I vote for Speedy but get the one with strap to be more versatile. The classic speedy wouldn’t do for me, but the bandoulier version is perfect all round.
I dig mine out from the closet yesterday to use it, and I remember once again why I loved this bag so much. It sits perfect around my hip when I carry it over shoulder with the strap extension removed. The opening is big enough to dig in for me too.

I personally haven’t seen anyone under 40 wear a speedy in person. I don’t know if that is just me or if it’s just not that popular to carry a hand carry bag.
Thank you! But I have a speedy 25 DE in the bandoulier version. I’ve had it for a year already and only used it a handful of times and each time I’ve removed the strap to make it a hand-carry bag. That’s why I was looking at the mono in the classic because my neverfulls I use often with work or as an everyday bag but do not reach for the speedy. I told myself yesterday that I should wear both my neverfull and speedy one day before deciding. I wore my neverfull mm in DA yesterday and loved it so today is the speedy’s day to be tested.
Do you hang your bag on your chair at restaurants? That’s another thing I am questioning with the speedy classic, not sure where to put it in those situations.
Ive bought my very first bag when I was 20 a speedy 30
And I’ve sold it as I couldn’t use it anymore since I’m a mum now. But that Girl that bought my speedy was also around 20.
I think that the speedy is a time- and ageless bag.
i did bought a speedy 25B now but if it hasn’t been that I’m a mum I never would have sell my speedy 30. it was a great everyday bag!
I also own a Neverfull but barely use it, only if I would need to carry books or a laptop or for travel maybe too!
I would put my speedy on a extra seat if it is possible! That’s worked somehow always or at the table even haha
I have both bags. I love them both. If you get a Speedy, get the one with bandoulier version, its more versatile. I like Speedy it has zipper closure but I tends to grap the Neverfull more because I have baby. I throw everything I need in a Neverfull and go. To answer your question, I think Speedy is better for you. You work a lot, you need a bag that close, secure your items.
