Neverfull mm in DE or Goyard White St.Louis PM?

Which would you choose?
Which will hold up better as an everyday work tote?

I’ve never owned a Goyard before as a side note.

I have both. If you want a work tote where you put a laptop,iPad, and files, the Neverfull is the better choice. The St Louis PM is delicate. I go to work with my St. Louis pm but put my laptop, iPad, and files in another bag. I carry the St. Louis Pm for a casual chic style. Goyard does make totes that would be a more appropriate workhorse tote.

Neither. Get the artois!
Second on the Artois if you want to dip your toe in Goyard. If you're on the fence, though, the Neverfull in damier ebene really is a worry-free, sturdy, durable companion. I've had mine for about 5 years now, and it goes EVERYWHERE with me and has carried everything from full 32-oz bottles of water to puffy winter coats to heavy groceries. Last month, however, I did purchase an Artois after reading from numerous sources that it's extremely durable and meant to be a workhorse bag. I'm looking forward to seeing how it wears.

I just don’t really like how structured the Artois is compared to the saint louis.

I agree with you. I like the carefree look of the SL, but everyone has warned you it is not a bag for heavy objects. The canvas on the SL is very thin, and the handles tend to crack if you are not gentle with them. There are some YouTube videos about the SL. It is a cool bag with a chic vibe, but it won't last if you put too much in it. I have learned over the years to listen to my PF friends; they are usually right and know these bags well. But of course, it is your decision. I am working as an educator, and I have to carry a laptop, an Ipad, a folder full of papers, and my purse stuff, which is a lot of stuff I feel I can't live without. The older I get, the more I carry. It would be nice if I could carry one bag, but I have resigned myself to carrying a slim laptop bag along with whatever tote I want to carry; that way, by doing this, I can carry whatever bag I want.

I know..I don’t either. I had my mind set on purchasing the Artois and when I tried it on, I felt that it lost that chic slouchy look that the st.Louis has. I bought the st.Louis because I don’t need to carry anything heavy on a daily basis. If I need to lug around a laptop, I’d rather use a longchamp tote over the Artois or a neverfull. It’s a matter of personal taste but maybe get a st.Louis and a longchamp?

I use the Artois for travel since it zips and is structured so holds my laptop. The Anjou is a little stronger I think, but I still wince when I put my laptop in it once in a while.

Have you looked at the Bellechasse? It's a bit less structured than the Artois because you can remove the base that comes with it so it is a BIT more slouchy, but it can also carry heavier items like a laptop. That's what I went for after going in for the SL (wanted durability), then tried Artois (size wasn't right), then landed on this. I still want a SL though for casual. :)

Neverfull MM in DE:

I love it, it's hella sturdy. It was perfect for when I had classes cause it fit all my school necessities (MacBook, small notebook, pencil case, charger, small wallet, 1" binder) and I didn't have to worry about babying it. I used it with a samorga organizer and without. The con is that it's heavy when I had my stuff packed into it (with or without bag organizer), I mean I only walked from the parking lot to my class building so it wasn't torture but should factor into your decision in purchasing.

St Louis by Goyard:

It's my most carefree bag. It's still looking brand new and the corners of the bag show no wear so far. BUT I don't use it often and I don't overstuff it. I never set my Goyard on the ground when I'm out I always make sure its hanging above the floor. Ive takin my St Louis to the beach, it's been drenched in sand, I've went to parties and it's stayed put. For the most part, the St Louis is sturdier than most ppl think but I wouldn't test it because at the end of the day it's made of cotton and made specifically for the beach. (I had to google it.)
