Neverfull GM & Plus Size Girls?

I would recommend the following for longer strap drops:

Totally GM
Neverfull GM
Cabas Mezzo
Palermo GM

I have the CM and the strap drop is nice. The top of the CM does not hit you underneath the armpit area. I also have the Neverfull GM. I actually loaded a bunch of water bottles into the Neverfull GM and hung it from a door knob for a couple of days to "stretch" the straps a bit more. It worked!!! I love the Neverfull GM!!

Good luck with your choice!

I have the GM and it fits comfortably with a shirt or sweater (I'm a 16). The mm was to small - it did not just slid up you know? I would agree that the Galleria is much better though - it is more comfortable IMHO and has a little extra room. I tried to find a pic to show you but they do not clarify that well. Good luck deciding!

i am larger framed as well and the gm fits under my arm with room to spare. although i am taller, i am 2+, top is smaller than bottom- but ironically some bags that i thought wouldnt fit me--really did. like my monty pm. i was surprised that one fot under my arm as well. i love the gm and there is room for play

p.s.
i could fit the mm as well...but the SA there told me it looked like a baby bag (literally). he said it looked like a git that i had to wear b/c someone bought it for me. i was not offended but he was brutally honest. my logic was i could always make the gm smaller by cinching the sides if i wanted but i could never make the mm bigger

My MM fits fine under my arm - not a lot of room to spare with a sweater - but not a hope with a coat. As I sadly found out yesterday. Oh, well, I don't plan on wearing a ton when it's cold enough to need a coat.

As a big girl, I just have to weigh in (no pun intended - lol). I decided that while I am somewhat limited to designer clothes (being a size 18), I refuse to let myself be limited on purses. I buy what I like and don't worry about it. I tend to gravitate towards bigger bags anyway cause I haul around a lot of stuff, but don't stress over bags when it comes to your size - we are limited enough.

Rock what you like with pride! :flowers: You're gorgeous!
So true!! This should be my siggy right here! I absolutely love this post!! :yahoo:

I'm plus sized and I have this bag. The strap fits on my shoulder and its not uncomfortable for me, but I wish it were about 2" longer. Then it would be perfect, especially when I have to wear a heavy coat.

What I love about purses is that they fit no matter what my size is. If you like a bag, then wear it with pride girl!

I carry too much stuff so I have outgrown my popincourt haut. I have tried on a GM and it seemed to fit just fine. Mind you, I was only wearing a blouse at the time. I think I was too busy drooling to seriously consider the practicality of it for the winter months.

I am medium height (5"6) and athletic build (+130 lbs) and it just barely fit over my shoulder with a winter coat. It was a tight fit but I could get away with it. I wished the straps were 2" longer and it would be perfect. If you're not wearing a winter coat, it may work. It is too bad you can't test it out at a nearby boutique. Maybe call Louis Vuitton and ask them the same question. Good luck!

thanks for the tip! I need more info like this!

idk i am relatively small (5'6, 125lbs) and i struggle sometimes with the strap on my gm. i use mine to carry books mostly and i don't feel like it is a bag i can just sling over my shoulder, more like have to inch it up there. everyone's experience seems to be different though, so trying it on would be best. good luck!! :ghi5:

I'm a plus size too and it fits:
