Hi all,

Wondering - does anyone here use the Neverfull as a laptop bag? (If so, which size?) I have to carry my laptop around 24/7 for work, and the Neverfull looks perfect for fitting a laptop + work files + personal items... but I'm afraid that it's going to get beat up with a 5 lb. laptop in there all the time. Thoughts??

Thank you so much in advance :smile1:

I wouldn't worry to much about it getting beat up. For what you need it for I would go for the MM or GM and I would get it in Damier Ebene. Good Luck on your decision!:flowers:

Why the Damier Ebene? Personal pref? I'm just worried that the straps are going to weaken :( I have the Speedy and I know you can really beat up the canvas and have it look new, but the straps worry me.

Because it is an all weather bag. I also love the red interior color on the Damier Ebene Neverfull.

I have Damier Ebene GM and I love it!
I've carried pretty heavy loads in it, several ring binders, books etc, and the straps are still in great shape. The only difference is that they are waaaay softer than when they were new. I would recommend getting a laptop sleeve for your laptop though.

I am carrying my laptop in an NF MM also (2.5lbs) with lots of paperwork, ereader, agenda etc. Not a problem for the bag at all. Only thing is that it, because it fits so much stuff, can get quite heavy, which might be bothersome, when you walk long distances.

I've carried my 13'' aluminum macbook in my GM before. The bag did fine, my shoulders however didn't. I ended up carrying it by hand for the rest of my short trip out. My totally and monty GM are easier on my shoulders when loaded up than the thin straps on my NF GM, ouch. I have to watch what I put in my NF or its guaranteed to kill my shoulders, laptop or not.

I'm always in awe when I see other women carry bricks in their shoulder bags. I just assume that they have a lot of muscles on their shoulders, because it hurts to just look at them. :push:

I did this for most of school, the neverfull is great for throwing stuff in. Just make sure you have a durable sleeve for the laptop itself.
