I saw this "vintage" (that's how it was being marketed) bag at a local department store today. I really liked it but know absolutely nothing about the Guccissima bags. Are they out of fashion? Too old lady-ish? Too flimsy? Do people still like them? I'd love to hear people's thoughts. I didn't buy it but am thinking about it. It has been professionally authenticated.

They still have some Guccisima bags at Neiman Marcus when I was there a couple of weeks ago. I bought a Guccisima bag at an outlet a few months ago and there were a lot of styles so I don’t know that this bag you’re looking at is vintage. I love my little Guccisima bag.

I would definitely have an authentication done though just to be sure. You could post in Gucci authentication thread ( I would follow the format and be sure to have all the correct images) and / or you could use a paid authentication service. ( You can Google a list of them, many are affordable)
But back to your question- yes I like it a lot and I would definitely buy it. I actually regret not getting something similar while at the Gucci outlet a few months ago so I'll be looking for it again next week when I go. The one I was going to buy was a different style/ color but they are still really cute. I also like it better than canvas and think it'll be more durable.

Thanks! It's final sale - that's the one thing that made me hesitant. I feel like I could resell it if I needed to but just wasn't sure!
Your not likely to get your $ back if you resell. This is not a new bag and guccissima bags are all over the outlets for well under $1,000. I saw tons in the $600-$800 range at outlets but again that’s new. Still, buy what makes your heart sing. It looks nice.

In case you're still thinking about the bag, Guccissima leather wears incredibly well and lasts forever. I have a great bag that is four years old and I use almost daily and it still looks almost brand new. Once in a while it gets a little clean up and it looks amazing. Probably the best ROI bag I've ever had. Keep trying to find a new bag that is better than this one, but can't!
