I have a pretty nice collection of "high-end" watches. But I never had a black face watch. Anyone own or able to suggest a specific model? I saw some Philip Steins and Tags but I'm unsure. There are lots of coupons, rewards money and Bloomies Friends and Family is 20% off next weekend so it is a good time for a purchase. Please post pics of styles that are great. Thanks!

I have the rolex daytona wg model, I like the black face. It feels very young and modern. I think silver metal watches look best with black faces. I like black and white faces on gold watches though!

I love Nvie's omega aquaterra w/ diamond markers on the darker face. I don't think it's quite black but it's a nice dark grey? I love it and it's very versatile. However, if u want more dressy and have the budget then a yg rolex and black face is lovely

Thanks whoops! It's dark gray. I think dark coloured dials be it gray, blue or black looks really good with diamond markers.
I just received the Montblanc 44mm DLC coated with sueded Alligator strap as a bday pressie, and I couldn't be happier with it. It's stainless steel, automatic, chronograph, 200m water resistant, etc... We also purchased a rubber strap for it so it could be used as a "dive" watch and not ruin the strap. It's a men's watch, so larger face, but I figure if I get bored of the black on black watch, I can give it to SO.
Not sure of price range for your fun watch, but I'd give it a look if you're near a boutique.

I've always been a sucker for the classic Movado museum watch. I love that all black face and you can get one with a diamond instead of a gold or silver dot or one of the new sporty Movado Bolds. They're also relatively inexpensive and I've always been happy with the quality.
