Thank you so much for your respons. Good informations.I have both and would consider them comparable. Both a basic tote bag as far as design. The deauville does have 2 regular handles to be hand carried and the longer chain handles (makes it slightly heavy IMO) while the NF just has 1 set thinner straps for shoulder wear (don't love this over time when heavy so what I have done while traveling is added a thicker guitar style strap to the neverfull). I have used both many times as personal item during airline travel and can fit alot including laptop while still fitting under seat.
I did have issues with defective glazing on a NF 10 years ago which was limited edition with pink leather instead of vachetta but my newer one is empriente leather from wild at heart collection with black and I have not had any issues. I have the deauville in pink tweed. Also, most NF come with a pouch which is nice. I guess it depends which size and material you're going to get too. A leather deauville will cost you a lot more than a NF but will also be more special/not as common. Hope that helps!
The tweed jacket is iconic and undeniably a huge part of the 20th century fashion history. But. The Mademoiselle had quite a few controversies that I can't ignore or forget.Golly!
You know how to make a gal curious!

My issues with current Chanel is charging Hermès prices for Made in Italy bags that sport plastic (!) zippers. Come on
If people love the designs, love the history, great, I respect that, I am happy if they find happiness in Chanel products. But I'll never be able to. I understand the Hermès appeal, I get why Vuitton works, but the Chanels with the plastic zippers and that shady history... never![]()
Which Chanels? None of mine, including the 2 in my bag right now have plastic zippers. One has metal and the other has a leather pull held by metal.
