Neutrals - What would you choose?

Hi everyone,

Hope the holidays and New Years went well with all despite it being a bit different!

I think I may give up and go the reseller route...I’ve waited for a k25 for a while, may come one day but who knows when and what I may be offered so I’ve explored the reseller market - although the prices have gone up so much compared to 8 months ago.

Im looking for a neutral colour but I think I’ve set on sellier with ghw cause I think it’s really elegant although I’m not a fan of epsom.

Here are my options currently:
- Noir: classic
- Etain: love this in Togo but not sure with epsom?
- Vert Amande: love this based on what I’ve seen online
- Toffee: it’s like a Gold wannabe? Haha but it’s hard to tell with online pics

those who own these colours, how’re you liking it/ease to match outfits?

For your first bag, you can never go wrong with noir. I only have etain (evercolor) and noir (clemence, Togo) and if I have to pick between those two, I would go with noir.

I'd pick Etain or Vert Amande! Noir is a great classic, but I'd go with Black box on a sellier if I were looking for black

Toffee seems to have contrast stitching like gold from online pics. If that's true, I'd go for toffee! I LOVE contrast stitching.

Noir for me.

I don’t like Etain in Epsom (more brown, I prefer it in the leathers that show it as a cooler gray) and I prefer it with PHW (also helps to bring out coolness).

Vert Amande - I love it (own Epsom wallet in it with GHW) and I think it’s so interesting but not as a first bag. It’s a neutral green but it’s still a green not the same as a true neutral, under certain lightings

Toffee - I would just go with Gold then

You just can’t go wrong with black, and Epsom is a very practical leather. As long as you don’t own another black GHW bag in similar styles (in which case maybe get the more interesting Vert Amande or the Etain for a true neutral), Noir would be my choice. (And I would also totally take Gold GHW but that’s not a choice)

At the end of the day it’s very much a personal choice tho go with whichever you really like!

Always always always would pick black. You won't ever get tired of it and it's easiest to dress up / down.

I find black to be too safe for me even though I love bags in neutral colour.

I have b25 in gold and gris T buy my current favourite is k25 in Vert Armande! It may not work well with red/yellow outfit though.

Thanks for everyone’s kind input! I don’t want to say I’m surprised that Noir was the winner here! I wonder who would’ve won if Gold was thrown in as an option! But I think I might bite the bullet and get my bag! Thank you all once again!
