So I have been really wanting something in this neon pink color and I ordered a Coach bag in a very similar color, it's called a Lindsey. However the style is very N/S and I have tried it twice and couldn't convince myself that it looked good on me (I am 5'2").

While I am going to give it a chance, I realize that because of the Macy's sale right now I could get something in their neon pink. So I am trying to choose between the N/S Hamilton and the Selma in this color. Right now I have an E/W Hamilton and would choose that in pink if Macy's had it, but they don't. I like the more horizontal shape of the Selma and the long strap that works crossbody. But I love the cute lock details of the Hamilton. I don't think the N/S is too big for me, I just wonder if it's too tall. Possibly same issue as the Coach bag, but it's not quite as big (the Coach bag is not at all structured though).

Can anyone who has tried both give their opinions? Mod shots or comparison shots even in other colors would be helpful as well. Thanks!

I feel the same as you- the hamilton isn't too big for me or my frame but its a bit tall- but I adore the lock! I also love the chain strap. I do like the selma a lot but it is a lot smaller. Have you tried them on?

I've tried on the Hamilton, but not Selma. And according to Macy's website no stores in my area carry either bag in this color :(

Are you talking about large Selma or the medium messenger? I think the large Selma might be too big for your height. For hamilton, the hamilton satchel would be better compare to the large Hamilton.

The Selma is the large. As far as the Hamilton I'm not sure what you mean because I thought they were all satchels? Macys only carries the neon pink in the large north south style. Dimensions are 14" wide x 13" high.

OOOHHHHHEEEMMMMMMGEEEEE....
I saw the Neon Pink Hamilton yesterday at Macy's and it is drop dead gorgeous!
Sadly, the N/S is too big on me...I am 5' 2" 120 lbs...if they made it in E/W, I would be ALL over it...even though I have 3 Pink Coach and 1 Zinnia Pink MK.
Can't wait to see pics!!

I'm basically same size as you so I'm hoping I can see past the size of it!

I just picked it up....LOVE it! I don't think it's too big for me actually. I will post some pics and mod shots soon. I'm sick and just not feeling to up to it. But here is one quick shot I took :)
