ok so I have decided to exchange my Tuileries Hobo. Something about it bothers me and I can’t seem to get myself to wear it. I am now looking at either the Neo Noe in black or red or the Montaigne BB. Which would you choose and why? Any drawbacks or problems with any of these bags? I forward to your advices. TIA.

Montaigne bb, I love this style. I love its shape and how it looks. It is on my wish list. I'm not personally a fan of the Neo Noe. I feel like Noe style bags stick out too far from the body when carried imo. Also I don't really like drawstring closure.

I have the Petit Noe and enjoy using this bag but I'm thinking about selling it and other bags to fund the Montaigne BB, so my vote would be the Montaigne BB!! Good Luck!!

How much do you usually carry? I think the Neo Noe holds more, and the Montaigne BB has three compartments, one zipped, so the way it organizes "stuff" is different. The Neonoe is an open space except for a zipped pocket, I believe. Both are great bags, but Neonoe doesnt have a carry handle, its shoulder strap only though its adjustable. Both are great bags, I do own two Montaigne BB in Empreinte and I've tried the NEoNoe in store...

I don’t carry too much. Just my Sarah wallet, mini pochette accessoires, LV MM sunglasses case, 6 ring key holder, round coin purse, cles, and some miscellaneous stuff like tissues or gravol for my kids.

LOVE the Montaigne. I almost bought it last year but went with the Turenne instead. The Montaigne is more open and that was the only deterrent for me. Otherwise it’s a beautiful bag!! I dint care for the Noe. Jmo. Good luck. Can you go in store and try on? That’s always a good way to narrow the choices. I try on, take pics, then go home and think on it.

So I think you could go either way - the Montaigne BB is more versatile and organized I think !

Montaigne !!!! I have the MM size and adore this bag ! Its so versatile . The bb I believe you can wear cb , so this may be a plus . The only con I can think of with the Montaigne is the vachetta handles . Thats if you plan on getting the monogram version . I overall prefer the look of the Montaigne to the Noe . Its just one of my favorite styles LV ever made . GL :)

I don’t have a Montaigne, but I do love my neonoe. There are no cons for this bag for me. I think both are great bags- you would really need to try them both on and see which one you love more.

Hello, I was wondering could anyone here advise me! I’ve asked in other threads too! I’m about to buy my second Louis Vuitton bag, I have a Pochette Metis in black empreinte and love it but want something a bit bigger and more open for daily wear! I’m torn between the Montaigne mm empreinte and the Neo Noe in empreinte! I love the look of both, but have questions about them too!
Noe:
Love the casual look, but does it stick out too much at the side? Would I be babying the corners? Also does the base sag after a while?
Montaigne:
It’s considerably more expensive, I could buy the Noe and a preloved piece instead? (Currently eyeing a 2012 terre empreinte bandouliere with no issues, I’d be paying 900 so just a little bit more than the difference)
I’d want to use my PM strap to make it crossbody

I’m so torn! Someone please help the most indecisive person in the world!

I had the same problem! I would have gotten the Montaigne mm only for the lack of crossbody, and others here advised me it would be too heavy/big as a crossbody!
