Neiman marcus gift card event scams?

Gosh, this is the 2nd time I purchased something during the gift card event.

You have to wait 6-8 weeks to receive it. First time never got one. It’s like pulling teeth trying to call NM and their gift card line… nothing happens. By then you can’t even return.

This time I received a lower amount. SA says I have to call gift card line… they say they have to send request to override.. now let’s wait 7-10 days!!!

Unlike bloomies.. it’s like near instant!

Even though Neiman Marcus promises Julia Lee a $125 gift card, it doesn't arrive. Now, the retailer says it's expired. What gives?

I quit using all in store promotions when you have to use their credit card. I do better by using my points credit cards, usually. I hate the limitations here you have so long to use the card. I did do one recently where I bought something and got a gift card and they let me use it on a Chanel bag I had bought a couple of days before. But that was Saks. I got the card immediately when I made the purchase.

You don't have to use NM card, they changed it a long time ago.
