Need your opinions. Does anyone have this bag?

I found the flap of the Saddle bags to be fussy. When opening or closing it while wearing the bag, the flap tended to get caught on those strap buckles.
The PM is great, isn't it? It seems to fit SO MUCH while still being compact. My Coach alternative for it is a vintage Court bag.

I have eyed that up too, @tlo, as it is so cute (and I also now as of yesterday have the Rogue version and LOVE the colour and whiplash detailing) but I am reminding myself that I find large/full flap bags a bit annoying to use and I have seen other comments like @faintlymacabre 's - that the flap catches on the buckles. I like to be able to open, see, and access everything one handed and I would worry that the buckles would interfere with that. But it is still tempting...
Thanks RayKay! Congrats on your Rogue in this! I have it too and it is quickly becoming my favorite. Love the color combo and the detailing. I have a couple of flap bags and haven't noticed the flap being an issue but honestly I haven't carried them a lot to remember.

I at one point had the regular size saddle bag and the saddle bag 23. I felt the exact same way about the flap and how the buckles on the strap got in the way of opening and closing the bag. I was so disappointed with this as I waited for months for the saddle bags to come out after I saw them in the Spring '16 runway show. I loved everything else about the bags. The regular sized one ended up on eBay and the smaller one I gave to my daughter. She doesn't seem to mind the flap issue and she's been using it for months now, but it sure did bother me. So maybe some people are bothered by it and others are not, I guess you should try it for yourself and see how you feel about it.
The saddle bag does have the flap issue but it doesn't bother me. I just automatically (almost like an instinct) stick my finger/thumb between the buckle and the flap each time so it can open smoothly. Good decision to try it out for yourself to see if it's an issue for you.
I bought this bag a few weeks ago and the details on it are amazing! I have used it every day since I got it and I am so glad I picked this one. I think the flap might be a little more rigid than the smooth leather saddle bags because of the whiplash detail but it doesn't bother me at all. I haven't noticed that it's hard to open and close. It's always good to try it out and not regret later that you didn't get it. I hope you love it!
I have 3 Coach saddle bags and really like them all. The flap does not bother me either. Good luck deciding.
It is a Coach iconic style- I suppose if you like it, you just deal with the flap vs. the buckles. I have the larger Mickey saddle bag from the original launch in black like your avatar and saddle and love them both!
