I really want a rolling ring to wear alone as a wedding band or with my e-ring and diamond eternity ring (I really like the stacked look of wedding sets as seen here http://forum.purseblog.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1217606&d=1286003013). But I cannot make up my mind- Cartier trinity http://www.cartier.us/#/show-me/jewelry/b4088900-trinity-ring or this platinum rolling ring from blue nile http://www.bluenile.com/wedding-ring-platinum_6549.

I don't want the rolling ring to be too thick...that is my only concern- and doesn't the Cartier one look thinner than the blue nile one? The other thing is that I am drawn to platinum since my e-ring and eternity are platinum...But I have heard that Cartier's trinity is just beautiful and glows and is not like your every day pink/yellow/white gold... So, I'm at a loss...which would you get?

I am biased because I have the classic trinity ring. It's gorgeous and I truly delight in wearing it everyday.

Hi candypants! Is that Rachel Zoe's stack in the picture you attached? I love the way hers looks and have thought about getting a Cartier rolling ring also. I only really wear white metals so I was considering this one.

I also prefer a thinner look and can't wait to see what you choose.

I'm bias. I have the classic Cartier trinity and love it to pieces. The tones of the gold are perfect and creamy. Can't beat the classic one!

I actually like mixing metals and have seen some sets using the thinnest Cartier trinity as a wedding band. It looks really cute!

I know you have been looking at the Cartier trinity line for a while, so I would get the trinity. If it's possible, you should try it on at the store. I've seen pics of the three tone trinity stacked with the classic Tiffany/solitaire setting and it looks phenomenal

thanks for all your replies...
miyale- i love that cartier rolling ring but it's out of my price range, as i'm trying to keep it under 1,000. ... :(
i think maybe i will try the trinity on in the store and see what i think. i'm really not drawn to gold because i don't like how over time it will get scratched and when you polish it, it wears down the gold...ahhh i dont know...

the Cartier is a classic never going out of style, I've had it for years and still love it, goes with everything, a purchase I think you will never regret

the cartier rolling ring comes in different versions that varies in thickness. i don't remember the price off the top of my head, but i do remember there was a thin one that looked really thin even though there were 3 of them intertwined.
