Need wallet suggestions! City Bag #9790

Hi purse ladies!
I just got a vintage brown/british tan City Bag #9790, and I am so freaking excited. I don't have a good Coach wallet to use with it; I have a black one and seafoam-ish one, and I don't want to use either with this bag. Does anyone have any suggestions on a matching wallet I could use with this? It can be older or new, I like the challenge of finding vintage pieces. The hard part may be that I like to have a checkbook inside. TIA!!

Well.... no . I'm just an old creature of habit, I guess! I could keep my register in a pocket and leave the checks at home. This bag is a little bit smaller than the other Coach totes and Maggie I'm used to carrying.
I'm open to suggestions!

You can leave your checkbook at home. Just ask me...also an old creature of habit. It took me years to get a debit card. lol

For really small bags, I like using my Madison Flap Card Case. It will hold my license, debit and credit cards, health insurance card and my proof of insurance...and a few pieces of paper money. Or you might try a soft slim wallet...sorry I don't know the proper name of it.

This style is one of my favorites. I have two! It holds more than you might think. You might be able to fit your checkbook if you shift things around a little. I had to get used to not being able to just throw everything inside without thinking about it like you can with a tote.
I also went through everything I carry and realized there was a lot that I rarely actually used and doubles of some things!

OOoh, I like the slim wallets. I see a Legacy Leather with turnlock 48003 on the 'bay that I like, but I'd like to see it in person first to see how they look together.
Hmmm... now I have an itch to go to the outlet!

I have a slim soft wallet-holds everything I need and checkbook (like you-probably don't need that, write checks once in a blue moon), not in a cover. I have an electronic register app on my phone, so I don't carry that. Wallet works perfect for me!! Might give this a look,,...
