Need ur opinion on this James Allen ring

Hi ladies,

I want to get this ring as a Christmas gift for a good friend of mine, but i have no idea on how to buy sapphires.

This preset sapphire ring has a nice right hand ring design and seems affordable as a gift (dont mean to sound stingy here..).

this is a nice ring, but for the money you are willing to spend I would look into places like the Natural Sapphire Company. this ring looks a bit dark and maybe the cut is windowed? you can definitely find a beautiful bright Medium toned blue sapphire for this price or less!

They are reputable but I will agree with Candice that it's not where I'd go for a colored gem center stone.
