So, my SA at Cartier is holding 2 necklaces for me and I need to make a decision tomorrow. I'm deciding between

this Orchid necklace

I like the pink (well, the website says pink gold but I think they look yellow) gold more, the pave on the white gold is too distracting. Plus it will match your ring!

Wow, that's a gorgeous ring!!!! I too would get the necklace that matches it. The pave one seems too small & the simplicity of the orchid is lost.

They are all beautiful pieces. I really like the pave, it's a lovely piece with or without the ring and would go with everything. How is the size? My only concern would be that it's small, but I'm sure it's super sparkly!!

I prefer the second one.
More elegant and looks a LOT more expensive than the first one.
I don't feel that your ring and necklace need to match...it is more chic for them NOT to match as a set.

Thanks...I haven't seen either in person yet. The rose gold is the last one in the US apparently and if I don't buy it someone else wants it. That's where the pressure is coming from.

I really like the pave - just not sure if that's wearable for everyday. Ack...decisions.

Thanks everyone! It turns out the SA had ordered in the wrong WG pave version so I purchased the RG necklace - should get it tomorrow. When he gets the correct WG version in the store I'll check it out and then decide.
