Need some Help with NYC room renting in the summer

I live in Sufflok and I drove up there one time. I'm not saying three hours per ride three hours for the whole day there....
I live in Suffolk and you can get a direct line that doesn't stop at all. I think it's the Huntington train that is direct. It takes a bit less than an hour. Even if you take the Ronkonkoma line it's a just bit over an hour. It takes the same amount of time to drive there!
Maybe you are too young to live there- you will have plenty of time to experience city life! Don't rush it!

can you even sign a lease at 16? why don't you get a dorm at fit "together" with your mother but just live there yourself? no one will know the difference and the location/price will probably be a lot better than anything you can find yourself. no one will know that your mother is not living there with you.
