Travel Need recomemndations on vinatge shops in Northern Virginia/DC area

I heard there's amazing vintage shops in Nova, I asked my BF who lives in Mclean, but he seemed pretty clueless, anyways, I want to go thrifting next time I go visist him and I need recommendations.

Oooo.... I would love to know too! Lived in No. VA for almost 5 years and would love to find some vintage shops!

Ditto...I've lived here for 14 years and I have no idea of any good vintage shops! I don't even know of any good thrift/consignment shops in the area!

I just found (around Halloween time) a cool BIG thrift store in the Merrifield area. It's on Gallows Rd. Just north of Arlington Blvd (50) Forgot the name, but it's in a plaza just one block north of Pizzeria Uno and Sweet Water Tavern.

Then, on Main Street/Little River Turnpike in Fairfax is a little thrift shop called "Yesterday's Rose". Again, I only went around Halloween...

but these aren't vintage shops or the like, but traditional thrift stores with you name it under the roof.

I can only imagine this area is rich in this stuff because A; the history of this place and B; the wealth of this area and C: the transient population means people buy and sell all the time.
