I found these 2 pics on the MK website and now I'm a bit concerned. I love the pic on the right - the one that looks brown, but I really dislike the pic on the left that has reddish/orangey undertones to it. If that is the true color of the distressed Hamiltons I am going to be sooooooo disappointed.

So for those of you that have seen these IRL - are they more of a brown or that reddy color?

I have seen them in person this weekend actually and purchased a wallet in distressed. I posted pics if that helps. The color I saw looks more like the one on the left and I was at the MK store. HTH Then again.. I wonder if it a lighting thing. At the store they seemed to POP more orangey and here are my actual photos.

Right? When I went to see it, it looked like the above photo to the left pretty much. When I photographed it, well it looked more like the one to the right. Now there were some there that did have more orange than black and vice versa. I also took a photo of a distressed speedy shaped bag too in the window. I will try to post that. But I took that with my iPhone. So we will see how it looks. :)

OH wait!!!! DUH... I forgot to mention. They did have 2 different bags as well, one with golden hardware and one with silver hardware. That also might make the difference color wise in distressed as well. Personally, that color looks better with the gold hardware. I saw it in both. That might be why I remember it that way and I purchased the wallet with the golden hardware. Sorry I did not catch that before.

Saw the distressed hamilton in nordies today. Leather is beautiful more brown than orange. I must say I didn't like the lock or chain though-it kind of looked cheap to me, not the regular gold lock. I am looking out for this leather in the grayson satchel Maybe a birthday gift to me:giggles:
