Need opinions on these 2 bags....

Hi everyone - I am new to the gucci family! I am currently looking to purchase my first Gucci. I am looking for a black bag that I can use for an upcoming wedding and then on a fairly somewhat regular basis. I am looking at the Soho disco bag

I think both can be used to carry on a regular basis and they're both beautiful bags. However the disco may be a bit casual for a wedding if it's a formal wedding. The soho shoulder chain bag is perfect for the occasion.

Personally I'm not a fan of patent leather, especially black because fingerprints and smudges show instantly. For some reason my patent black shoes are a dust magnet too.

So I am rethinking about my first Gucci- I may be leaning toward the Disco . I think i would get more use than the shoulder bag with the chain. I 'm confused ! lol I love both! Help me decide

I'd go for the 2nd one. The disco is too casual for a wedding IMO.

Why you don't go for the soho chain (the oval)? Is a nice bag.
But a little smaller than the disco for a day by day use.

Since you're already borrowing a bag for the wedding, I suggest go for the Disco bag. It's great for regular use. I love mine and use them a lot. You can adjust the length for crossbody wear. Megs just made a review on her disco and she gave it a high rating. Good luck on your decision!

I would get the Soho. Patent is super hard to keep looking great...once there's a flaw there's very little you can do to restore it. Also, I prefer east west style bags and the Soho has that look more. It's also a little less casual.
