I have the large Campbell in navy...LOVE IT! One of my most worn bags. The bag has held up very well without scuffs. I prefer the large to the medium. It is a perfect size to hold a lot but not like a huge feeling tote. The top unzips widely and it is easy to see all that is in the bag.
Unfortunately the handles are not as durable. There is warping where my hands held it. It's a common problem with the Campbell. The damage may have been avoidable, now knowing that the handles needed to be treated with extra care. I am sure the heat of my hands holding the handles for loooong periods at a time is what caused it. And it isnt that noticeable, but i know it is there. I've seen multiple complaints about similar damage of the Campbell handles on this site and resale sites.
The back outside pocket is too tiny for my hand is my only other warning. But i am fairly tall, so it may work out better for you.
I think the grey snake looks gorgeous in person, it has a lot of depth of color and isnt just in the black/white color scale.
