I'm getting a MK outlet!! Opens March 28!!!!! So excited but I have some questions.

1. Is this all MFF MK bags or do they get deletes?
2. I have to work opening day, do they hold bags for any length of time?
3. How can you tell if a MK bag is MFF vs delete? Coach stamps the bullet on the creed
4. Are there any favorite bags of MK lovers that I should look for? I have only 2 MK bags, usually buy Coach but I'm so excited to get some new bags in my life!

THANKS and if there is a thread about this I couldn't find it so any help is appreciated!:D

Congrats on getting an outlet!! We just got our first outlet also, about 6 months ago. I'll tell you what I know and what I've learned. I would say 90% of the outlet is MFF bags. They have the Hamilton in the outlet only size. It doesn't have the lock but it is more of a medium size, which I think is a great size. Not too big, not too small. It doesn't have the lock and has a middle compartment that divides also. The regular price though is like $298 or $329 so not much cheaper. They DO get deletes or other bags in (not always deletes) but not as often as Coach does. You know because they tell you and they are usually on a clearance or sale section. (For instance, mine had the quilted/studded lock full size hamiltons sent there in black for half price, making them just over $200) I believe they do hold bags but I am not positive. They do not take returns, only exchanges or gift card back within around 21 days so you need to be sure you want to spend your money there. I have had nothing but great experience at mine.. amazing customer service, and while it seems that the bags and prices are fairly consistent, they do have deals here and there and especially their wallets will vary on price from week to week. OMG I am so excited! I really want to find a JS tote in vanilla for summer. I have the JS NS tote, neoprene black tote and an Ipad case but I want something vanilla for summer. Do they carry accessories, watches etc? I've been Coach for so long I really want to branch out into another line and I love MK!:p

I was obsessed with Coach (and only Coach) for years. Just ventured into MK recently and it's very addicting also. :graucho: Yes, the outlets carry wallets, pouches, clothes, watches, etc. :tup:

Also, some outlets have lots of clothing. The pricing is hit or miss though. I have seen some of the same stuff at Macy's, weeks before, on clearance. ;)

I find that MK clothing fits me great! So don't forget to check out the clothing too. :D

I notice, in my region, the outlets and boutiques have wildly different stuff. (More logos, more jetset in the outlet. More structured stuff, and collection items in the boutiques)

It is very interesting since an MK outlet just opened up about 5 miles from a boutique nearby.....

Yay and congrats on the new store near you. I love our MK outlet. I find there to be some slight differences between the outlet bags and the boutique bags but definitely no difference in the quality. I also find the staff at my outlet equally, if not more helpful. I've even received thank you cards week or two later asking if my purchase has met my needs. Love my MK outlet and trust you will love yours as much :)

Does anyone know if the colors are the same from MFF bags to FP bags?

I have been keeping an eye on the FP Jet Set tote in palm, when I saw a similar bag at the outlet. It looked like it was the same palm color, but I wasn't 100% sure. I know Kate Spade uses the same materials, different hardware for a lot of their outlet bags, but I don't know the deal with MK outlet bags.

So far, colors/shades from both are the same in my opinion. I was in an MK outlet not too long ago looking at the red wallets. They showed me their wallet and a wallet they had received from a FP store. No difference.

Wow thanks! I never check those but I will next week. I have the day off now :graucho: so I'll be there first thing when they open. I'm already googling bags hoping I can find one I want LOL, ONE! I have a feeling that I might get more than one!
