in Luggage I'm thinking... I have so many black bags. Would love any advice from the handbag fashionistas here please! I don't have any MK bags as of yet and the Gustto bag I want isn't available in my color.

How is the leather in the Michael MK bags? Does anyone have one of these bags?? Would love to hear any thoughts - positive or negative. Thanks so very much. I love this forum!!!

Or the MK Braided Grommet Large SHoulder tote (thinking about Red). Does this particular red look too loud? I haven't seen/touched in person.... Thanks again!

I love Michael MK bags! I have three of them and really like the leather as well as the designs. The leather is supple and soft without being too slouchy, and I love that I don't have to baby it.

I've actually seen the first bag IRL and it's nice. I think the black looks the hippest, but the Luggage color is amazing (I have a hobo in that color). I've not seen the second bag, but I remember when the Desert satchels were offered in colored leather they were saturated without being too bold. It doesn't look like the second bag has a shiny finish, which I think will help keep it from looking too bright.

Good luck with your decision! I don't think you can go wrong with a MBMK if you pick the one you like the best. Two of his bags I've had for years with no issues, so I think the quality is great. :D

I like the braided grommet tote. I have seen this one in Navy and Black with gold hardware. It's a really pretty bag that's comfortable to carry and the leather is smooth but soft. This is a great bag! ... haven't seen the red IRL though. Can't go wrong with either.

I actually like the first one in luggage. The second has a little too much happening for my tastes and I think the first is more versatile and easier to wear. FYI, I saw the luggage one on sale at Bloomies last weekend, so you might want to check that out.

I am on my 5th MK astor collection bag. All in the same luggage color. These bags are fabulous, and the quality cannot be beat. Macy's has a lot of the astor collection on sale right now, but I did just pay full price for the astor chain satchel, which is a new design. I vote for the astor hobo between the two you have selected.

Definetely second bag-it is much softer than Astor (first one), Astor has somewhat of a glazed surface, the other one I have not seen in real life, but it is definetely softer and smooshier looking bag.

I also love the MK Astor collection bags, especially in Luggage. Highly recommend them. They are timeless and draw a ton of compliments even though they've been around for a while.

Thanks everyone! I so appreciate the input. My prob/issue is that I have a GC to use at eBags to use, so I have to work with their selection. There was a pink Gustto I was thinking about, but it's now gone - only green available....

I like soft supple leather, but don't like when bags totally lose their shape.. I'm not sure if I like any of their Treesje's they have available now. I just can't seem to find THE bag.

Sorry for rambling. Thanks again. I may be back with another option for votes if that's ok. :)
