Hi, after looking around a bit it appears these shoes are from 2012 and are often called out on ebay and other re seller websites as a 20th anniversary style. Yet, this style never shows a 20th anniversary logo anywhere and is never pictured with the 20th anniversary box/identification.

I personally have not ran into any other black insole CL styles; can someone explain to me why this insole is black and confirm whether or not it is indeed a 20th anniversary shoe? Thanks!

I don't think these were part of the 20th Anniversary collection. Those have a distinctive starbust-shaped label on the insole:

These were released around the same time (Spring/Summer Collection 2012) so I could see how they'd get lumped in.

There are other black and various colored insoles however. Seems to be common in the Trash line:

hello,
All new here ...
I desperately seek for information on black inside soles on the internet.
Apart from this post, I couldn't find any information.
I found on a second hand shop a pair of Louis junior sneakers (37). They seam authentic (perfect leather, all the spikes perfectly aligned, etc) - but the inside is black...
@cadillacclaire posted that "...There are other black and various colored insoles however".
Can anybody give me more info? Thanks a lot!
