Need ideas for watch in the 2k range

My Mom wants a watch and asked me what brands I'd recommend but I don't wear a watch and have NO idea. Her budget is around 2k and she wants it to be a jewelry style watch (not just a face with a leather strap). That's about all the info she gave me.

I looked at David Yurman and there are a few around that range that are nice.

Any suggestions for otherbrands to look at? She does NOT want any bling around the face.

How about a Baum et Mercier? I really like my Ilia without bling. The links are 18k so scratches don't show. I paid about 1k at Amazon.

The Tag carrera would be my pick. But I like a little sporty look. I also like they formula 1 watches with the ceramic centers.

What kind of style is she? Any particular type of style? Dressy? Casual? Sporty?

how about a Longines watch? I know it's a favourite of my mother's. They're very low profile and discrete. They have very classic styles and more modern ones too.

Thanks so much for all of the ideas! I thinks he wants this to wear when she is dressy (but that is still pretty casual) and definitely nothing remotely sporty. She wants it to be very feminine I think. I will check all of these out today!
