Need help with my Halo ring

Ladies i'm buying a round diamond halo engagement ring from a local jeweler. The diamond is .90 and the halo is a little thick, atleast 3mm wide. When the diamond sits inside the halo there is a little gap, very little. The jeweler asked me if i want the gap or not.. so my question is do you ladies perfer a halo ring of my size with a gap or no gap? THANK YOU !!

by gap i mean between the diamond and the halo.. the diamond does not touch the halo as of yet

No gap! I don't like the "floating" halo effect and that you can see your finger through the gap. It breaks up the beauty of the halo imo
