I found this earring in my grandmas purse after her sadly passing away I could never find the matching earring but when I first look at it I guessed it was silver as I could only just make out 975 and it had a little bit of tarnish but the closer I looked the hall mark started to look more like 825 which is a strange hallmark but what I can gather it around 19k but I’m still not sure my gran was old so can’t say if it’s really old or just abit old to me it looks hand made I want to know abit more about this one earring can anyone help? Also what is the other hallmark next to it? Can anyone make out the symbol?

I put reading glasses on and it looks like 825 which would indicate 82.5% gold, possibly 19kt roughly..

As far as being handmade increasing or decreasing the value, I'm just speculating here, but I doubt it makes a difference either way.

You'd have to use the macro lens of a real camera to capture the hallmarks. It looks like a silver single earring of a pair, obviously for pierced ears. The metal content and origins are not visible as here.

It will have no value at all aside from scrap price unless it happens to be by a famous studio, which is unlikely,
