Can someone who has knowledge about diamond tell me is it worth to buy this diamond.

GIA

RB, G color, ideal cut, .93ct, vvs2, ex/ex/ex, fluorescence:none, cuter:none
Measurement: 6.22-6.24×3.89,
Depth:62.4, table:57, faceted:3.5%, crown angle:35.0, Pavillion angle:41.2., crown hight 15%, Pavillion hight:43.5%

The jeweler asked $5730 for it.

Thanks.

Who graded that stone to be IDEAL? If its not AGS, then it's not graded as IDEAL. If the jeweler is telling you it's Ideal they're fullofit. It is too deep. It's not horribly cut but it is not truly well cut and falls outside of Ideal guidelines because of that depth. The crown and pavilion angles don't quite work as well as they could, either. There are better out there. In the Diamond Reference thread stickied in this subforum you can find my cheatsheet. Have your jeweler stay within my guidelines.

Try to keep the table between 55 and 57.

Pricewise, again depends who graded it. If GIA about right on probably bordering within a few hundred high. AGS, possibly right on bordering low. Any other lab than those two, way way too high and you aren't getting a G VVS2.
