Need help with a 'wedding' purse...

Hi Everyone,
I would normally hit the 'search' button, but as I just read, it's disabled...
I have a question for you guys.
I have 4 weddings this summer.
I currently am using my Gucci belt bag *in beige*.
I am a diabetic so I do need a purse big enough for everything to fit into. I can get it all into the belt bag, however it's cramped.
My question is.... Do I bother getting the same bag in Black for all the weddings ( A black bag is the most practical) or is there something else you would recommend?
I know it's a bit 'passé', however I do LOVE how easy it is to fling it over my shoulder.
Any insight you guys have would be fabulous!!! I would LIKE to keep it under $500 if possible! I'm in Canada so if there's a website you know of, international shipping is a must...

Well, unless you're actually in the wedding party, and need a specific style and color to match a bridesmaid's dress, I don't see why a purse worn to a wedding should be any different from something you'd buy for any other occasion. You'll want something to complement your outfit and fit all your neccessities, but you'd look for than it any bag, no? So I would just surf the forums, see if there's a designer you like, and check out their website. Eventually you'll find something that fits your needs and budget. HTH!

I am in the wedding party for 1 of the weddings, and the rest i'm just a guest.
however, i'm wearing black for all so....
thanks for the suggestions though, will definitely keep looking around.
