Dear all,

I had a terrible experience last time purchasing a fake birkin bag from a reseller and thanks to the tpfers who helped me to spot it. I have decided to buy directly from the store to avoid the exact thing to happen again, but I'm lazy to wait for years. One of my friends told me to go directly to Paris to check whether they have the ready stock available but I don't want to take the risk of not bringing back one. Is there anyone of you who have the email address of the stores in Paris so that I can contact them first before I go? I hope you guys can help me with it since I am also quite new in H world. Thanks before.

Sorry to hear such thing has happen to you but the possibility to score a Birkin from Paris as a walk-in customer is quite hard. Even if you call them, most likely they are going to tell you no stock. I would highly suggest you flying to HK (which is near where you are located also) and the 2nd-hand shop there (very very reputable and won't risk their reputations by selling you a fake birkin and those 2nd hand shops are often feature in HK magazines, movies etc). Their birkin collections are wonderful!! But of course, the premium that you have to pay to get one. It is a mark up of a few thousand USD. That is the fair deal since you don't have to have a r/s with a H sa or wait a few years to own one.

You should go Japan H which has a higher chance.

Most H stores will not discuss availability of birkins and kellys over the phone nor e-mail. If you do need to reach them, their contact information is available on www.hermes.com!

^^^ both posts answered your question very well. You won't be able to get stock information via phone, let alone via email. There are a lot of information on how to get a birkin on this forum. You should do a bit more reading and see what's the best option for you. Good luck!
