Hello! I'm new here, didn't know this forum existed until now!

I'm looking for a new hand bag and am really struggling to decide which one out of the two I've decided on. I need others opinions on what you think of the style, which you feel is more classic, which you believe is more 'easily usable', which would hold its value better etc. I've been looking around and have fallen in love with the Tom Ford Jennifer in black and the Fendi tricolor shopping tote in black/nude/blue (links below).

I'm a mum to 4 year old twins, and although I don't carry around the kitchen sink in my handbags like I used to, I do still carry around a lot of stuff. I am however very much into larger handbags so I guess that's a good thing!

Anyway, now you know all of the above, please can you guys help me in which bag you prefer all round, I just want some opinions as I don't really have many people to ask... I don't want my friends to think I'm being a show off and my sister has a very different style to me... :flowers:

That's exactly what I thought! I am however quite a dressy or dressy/casual person. I don't go out in sweats or gym gear (unless I'm going to the gym!) If I'm going food shopping/to the grocery store for example I'll go in flat sandals and a maxi dress. Would I look silly taking the Fendi out to buy my weekly food shopping though?? Haha. I definitely do want something versatile that I can take out day and night, and what you've said is something that did cross my mind so I thought I should probably go for the Tom Ford because of that... But then the Fendi really is so beautiful and striking...

Since you're style is dressy, I don't think it would be odd to be taking the fendi to the store! I think you should go with the fendi since you (and I) think it's the more beautiful bag. at the end of the day (and for that amount of money) you should have something on your shoulder that you like the most!

Thank you so much for helping, so sweet of you :-) I really adore them both for different things hence why I'm struggling so much! The colour combo of the fendi has just really taken over my mind. Then I love the huge zip detail on the Tom Ford and think I may get more use out of it due to its style. But then maybe the Fendi has more 'staying power' simply because it's more of a classic brand than the Tom Ford which may be more of a passing trend... GAH
