Hi everyone. Thanks for everyone's help I have decided to go with the YG MOP necklace. But now I need help to pick between 20 motif vintage YG MOP necklace and the 6 motif magic YG MOP neckalce. Ideally would like the piece to be both a daily wear and for formal occasions. Thanks for your help!

I pick the six motif. It’s my only VCA piece and it can be easily dressed up or down. If you want something difference, simply wear a neckline (like a t shirt) that covers the dangly bits. It’s equally great for button down shirts and v necks as well as scoop or crew necks
I love the dramatic effect of a 20 motif but I agree with @880 that the 6 motif is more versatile.
The dangle-ness of the 20 motif would make me concerned about it hitting things and getting caught on things (but that's just a me problem, I'm not a careful person) and I know that the 20 motif can be doubled up, but knowing myself (again a me problem), I'd just get it tangled up, probably with my hair too.

IMO 20 motif is more versatile and easier to wear. 6 motif can be tricky with the neckline of the top/dresses you wear. I tend to wear square or sweetheart neckline tops a lot because I have a short neck (lol!) so necklaces like the 6 motif tend to slip under the top and/or get stuck in my cleavage instead of looking like how they're supposed to look 😅 Definitely need to try on the 6 motif with a top you normally wear, and wear the MOP magic pendant with you too to see if you like how they look layered together. The 6 motif magic necklace is unique and surprisingly, goes well with a lot of necklines. I just got mine and am really loving it. It just gives a very interesting visual to the outfit, imo. There a few threads in this forum on the 6 motif where you can get good info. I don't own the 20 motif but I join my 5 motif to my 10 motif, which is similar to the 20 motif in style. That is the perfect length for me (I am 163 cm). I feel the 20 motif will hit me too low. I agree with the suggestion to try on both in the boutique. Personally, I would go for the 6 motif in MOP YG-it is such a lovely piece.
100% the 20 motif. I find the 20 perfect for daily wear and it goes with everything, especially the mother of pearl. I have a 10 motif and because of the clasp, I cannot be bothered putting it on, so I put on the 20 motif and it looks so good and gets so many compliments. Im actually wanting another 20 motif because I enjoy it so much. I personally feel that the 6 motif is not for daily wear and is too much.
If you already have a 10 motif I would say go with the 6 motif but if not then I think the 20 motif is more versatile. You can wear it with any neckline either long or doubled up. I feel like the 6 motif needs a little more thought. With that said I absolutely adore the 6 motif and thinking about getting it next since I just ordered a 10 motif. Do you know the availability or wait for the 6 motif? I was told by my SA that it’s almost impossible to get nowadays.
It seems to be not avaialble in the US at the moment. The SA at my nearest boutique also mentioned that it was near impossible to get and there is not waitlist. So I might not really have a choice at all =(
Hi everyone, thank you for sharing your thougths. I decided to go with the 6 motif YG MOP Magic Alhambra neckalce. I could not find here in the States, but I have family abraod and they were able to lcoate one with their SA. I am go glad to have found it since it seems so limited, but I also won't actually physically have it until the summer.
