hi to all. i desperately need help deciding on what rolex to get. i want a 36mm daydate solid yellow gold w/ dome bezel. where i get lost is the kind of bracelet, face and markers to get. oyster or president? champagne color? stick or diamond? btw, i already own a ladies datejust w/ s/s oyster, fluted bezel, white mop w diamond and 36mm datejust w/ s/s oyster, dome bezel, plain white face w/ roman. most of the celebrities i saw here w/ rolex like jennifer aniston, courtney cox, victoria beckham to name a few have mens yellow gold w/ stick markers, do you know why that is if they definitely can afford w/ diamond markers? i know big watches are the trend right now but i dont mind getting the mens size coz im planning to give this to my one and only son when time comes. yellow gold bec. to me white gold is way too similar with s/s and i already have 2 of them. need all the input i can get. thanks.

I think the best way to go about it is go to the store, try them on and take pictures. If you post the pictures and ask people to vote you will get a lot of responses and opinions.

I say President for sure, Oyster is so casual ti me, for a gold watch.

As to stick or diamond, do you know if he would like diamonds or would it be 'too much'

I think President with classic stick is timeless.

I would go for President bracelet, Mother of Pearl (black if you pick rose gold or white if you pick yellow gold) with Roman numerals. I agree with chessmont, diamond markers would be too much.
