I am trying to decide on a good crossbody bag. It needs to be classier looking. I think I have narrowed it down to the Large Jet Set Messenger or The Cindy Messenger.
I like the feature of a chain strap.
Does anyone know if the Jet set will be available in Dark Khaki?

I haven't been able to see any pictures of anyone modelling this Cindy, is it an unpopular bag? Would be helpful if someone had pictures of it!! I wonder how it sits on the hip since the bottom is wide and the top is very narrow.


Also interested in the Kiera ( on nordstrom) Does anyone have this bag?

I was trying to decide between the two as well. I knew which color I wanted but couldn't decide between the two bags. I chose the Cindy crossbody because of the wider base. I could fit more without distorting the bag. All of my surrounding Macy's sold out of the Cindy crossbody's in fuchsia (my color choice) so I had to order online. I definitely think the crossbody is more popular than the larger handbag.

It's really hard to pick just one bag. They are so cute and good for summer. Great choice on fuschia :)

Thanks for showing a photo of It on. That bag wears a lot better than it looks by itself. I love the chain strap! Is it adjustable where you can wear it as a shoulder bag? In other words, can you make it shorter?

IMHO, I would go with the Cindy bag after seeing it worn. The Jet Set is OK, but it is so common. Everyone and their uncle has one. I see them every where! Don't you think it's nice to have your own look? That is a real issue with me. Kind of like showing up at a party with the same dress on as someone else. Why not be different and have your own thing going on?
Of all the bags we authenticate on the authenticity thread, the Jet Set is probably the one we see the most. I am sure Jojo21 and cdtracing will agree. EVERYONE is buying them. There are also a lot of fakes of the Jet Set It is one of the highest duplicated / faked bags because it is so popular. Thousands of women are wearing fake Jet Sets. That really turns me off from the jet Set, even though it is a nice looking bag. I haven't seen ANY fake Cindy's to date, and I see a lot of fakes as an authenticator. It really looks nice on keishapie1973!!
I know it will turn a lot of heads because it is more unusual. I'd definitely go with the Cindy, but ultimately, only you know what works best for you.

I recently purchased the Cindy crossbody in luggage and I love it. I haven't had s chance to model it, but it's great!

Yes, the strap is adjustable. That is one of the things that I like about the Cindy crossbody, is that I haven't seen anybody with one. Yet, I went to two Macy's to find one. The first one was sold out. Then a store about 35 minutes away had two so I felt safe just driving there and doing a presale. When I arrived, a lady was buying the last one. I ended up just ordering online. Could have saved myself time and gas money. The bag is currently "out for delivery"...:D

I want dark khaki, I think for me the ultimate crossbody for what I need right now would be dark khaki with gold hardware. If I could find either if these in that colour I'd be willing to go towards eBay or spend a bit more off a department store website. But other wise peanut would do, I think I am leaning towards the Cindy except I don't think they have peanut in the Cindy in Canada anymore, so I'd have to settle for the jet set in peanut as a last resort, before they sell out. Sigh....

Thank you for this! It was very helpful!!! Can you tell me the actual measurement of the width of the base of the Cindy? It is different on the mK website from nordstroms and I would rather hear it from a human than a website description lol

I don't actually have my Cindy yet. I ordered it online from Macy's, then took it back to store for the presale price. I don't pick it up until the 26th.....:smile1:
