ok so I have some birthday money to spend and am looking for a gold necklace. I just need help deciding which to buy!

I am trying to keep it as close to $500 as possible but that is almost virtually impossible with gold lol so here are the ones I am thinking about getting:

Paloma's Dove charm

Tiffany Notes Letter “A” disc charm

Bow pendant

Tiffany Locks heart lock pendant

Return to Tiffany™ heart tag Charm

HELP! I want something that I won't tire of in a year or two and I'm not sure if any of them will be timeless like the bow or initial disk. As much as I love the bow pendant I'm not sure if when I am older if I would end up hating it and the same with the A pendant I'm not sure if I would hate wearing my initial when I'm 25 or 30?

I'm getting the Elsa Peretti alphabet pendant for my 31st birthday!

Did you see this- http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/Ite...5-r+101323339+101674965-x+-n+6-ri+-ni+0-t+-k+

Or the mini bean- http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/Ite...5-r+101323339+101674965-x+-n+6-ri+-ni+0-t+-k+

Personally, I would save up $100- 200 more and get one of Elsa Peretti's designs in gold (e.g. small open heart, bean, etc)

Ok I really like the first one so that can be added to the list! I don't really care for the open heart or the bean :( I know other people love them but they just don't go with me...
I usually jump at anything that looks antique or victorian, and I love keys and locks but I already have a black diamond oversize key that has filgree detailing at the top, so I don't want to buy another key, so maybe the lock would be perfect!

I also don't own anything tiffany...yet LOL

How old are you? Out of the ones listed I would pick the Dove.

I just turned 22 :)

I would say the lock if you are into that sort of thing. It is always good to stick with what you know you will like so that you will more likely wear it!
(now if only Tiffany would make a sterling silver animal skull, then I am in! lol)

yeah I think I need to stick to something I know I will always like instead of something trendy that I won't wear later on. I am seriously considering the filgree heart lock right now! Does anyone know if they make anything larger than the mini size or how mini it is irl? I dont want anything microscopic LOL but I think the chain length would be perfect if I layer with my key because it is on a longer chain.

I went to the store today and saw the filigree heart lock on display. I didn't look at it up close but at a glance I would say it was about the size of a dime or a bit smaller.

i just got a mini yg bean (yesterday in fact). it was an impulse buy as i lumped it in with all kinds of other stuff :p but it is CUTE. great piece to layer with. the price is just under $500 but tax will bring it over. just another suggestion. tiffany gold sounds like a great prezzie to yourself! :graucho:

 that's tiny...I will look at it when I go to Toronto next...I will probably have a bit more money to spend then too lol since it's a few months away!
